I am an amateur photographer living in Gush Etzion, just south of Jerusalem. Originally from Northampton, MA in the USA, I have been in Israel for over 25 years . I began taking pictures in 2012, and love the process of creating beautiful pictures as well as capturing the beauty of the Land and the variety of subjects here in Israel.  I was initially inspired by my cousin Ruth Gruber, who lived to be 104, and who was an amazing photojournalist who chronicled many important events in the twentieth century.  She said that the camera has the ability to capture the best and worst of human experience. I hope to put together a collection of photos which represent many of the people and places in this amazing land, and I hope you enjoy the photos. I can be reached at adamjperlman@gmail.com
